ALL I NEED! Serene Allison, Primm Springs, Tennessee

Slings are wonderful and I was somewhat content with a very top brand a
friend bestowed upon me. Yes, I still had some troubleshooting. My
shoulder and upper back ached fiercely after an hour and I still wasn't
hands free. I had to support my baby when I bent down to dress a
toddler or load the washing machine. It grew very painful on strenuous
exercise walks but it was all I knew. I didn't complain and enjoyed
wearing my baby ... UNTIL I discovered the 'Ergo' (named appropriately
because it is designed to be ergonomically correct for you and your
baby's back and chiropractic recommended.)

Hello, I bought
the ergo (new
generation) several weeks ago and have carried my six month old
daughter everywhere in it on my back. She loves it. The funniest thing
is that here in Holland where baby wearing is the norm, a carrier like
this is unknown. Most mothers wear a didymos style sling in the
beginning and then switch to the Bjorn - (which is back breaking). I
have mothers (and fathers, and grandmothers!) stopping me on the street
asking me about it and where to get it. I think in the past two weeks I
have given your website link to at least 15 people! I am happy to have
started this trend in Amsterdam. I feel it is by far the most
comfortable and practical sling I have tried (and I have tried MANY). I
am so happy with my ergo! I even breastfed her in it on the go once -
(this made me feel like I had advanced to a new level of motherhood!).

As a chiropractor and mother I highly recommend he ERGO baby carrier.
There are so many benefits to the baby and the wearer. The design
creates optimal positioning for the baby, reducing unnecessary
stress to the spine and creating a leg position that is ideal for
healthy maturation of the hip joint. The wearer of the ERGO
is
also comfortable, with the child's weight being distributed evenly,
thus reducing stress to the wearers spine. This eliminates
the
"tight neck and shoulders" that many of my patients complain of after
using other baby carriers on the market. There are also many benefits
to the baby facing inward whether on front or back. Baby wearing
creates comfort and security in a child. They get a full appreciation
for the wearer's heartbeat, smell, touch, expressions, and response to
stimuli, thus teaching them how to interact and respond to stimuli
themselves. I love my ERGO and am thrilled to have such an amazing
product that I can provide to patients and/or visitors to my office. My
son Jackson also LOVES the ERGO! When he sees it I have to smile as he
hands it to me and says, "back, back?"......so he climbs on my back and
off we go!

Hello, this is our favourite picture with Ergo Carrier. The Ergo
Carrier is perfect, we love it!
Greetings from Germany
.
. . We are SO THANKFUL to have such a wonderful
bunch of children. Each one is unique and has incredible
skills and personalities. I'm SO HAPPY I didn't give up at
just a couple or a few (when the the older ones were all
little). Yes, four in car seats, three in cloth
diapers. Boy!! Do I wish I had an ERGO back
then!
After 10
babies and 7 baby carriers,
we've found the most versatile, comfortable baby carrier for our
family! Yes, my older sons and daughters even use it to carry
their younger siblings! I love the way it supports my baby's
weight from my hips and not my neck and shoulders. I like the
option of doing my laundry with baby on my back with full range of
motion for my arms!
I hope you're able to
TRY one out. We offer an EXTENDED 90-day guarantee.
That means, if for any reason, you find you're not using your ERGO as
you hoped within 90 days, you are welcome to return it for a FULL

The Baby Wearing Revolution
We
are definitely in
the midst of a babywearing revolution in which parents feel the need to
be productive with their babies close, at the same time allowing them
freedom of movement. Anthropological evidence has shown that the human
pattern of infant care has long been one of carrying babies. Indigenous
cultures wore their babies and baby wearing appears to have originated
as a part of the nomadic culture of the early Mesolithic hunters and
gatherers in Asia. Early Pleistocene migrations probably brought the
tradition to North America where the Native American Indians had an
infant carrier called a Cradleboard. Yet it is only in recent years
that researchers have confirmed the wisdom of this timeless practice
and enlightened us with an alternative way of raising children.
The
benefits of wearing our babies
are wide ranging apart from making the parenting process easier and
more fun. The goal is to raise well-integrated children who have strong
self-preservation instincts and the ability to peacefully discern and
articulate their needs. Through baby wearing our new generation of
babies can be ushered into our world with the best loving support
possible while promoting parent-child bonding. This ERGO
baby carrier is great for hiking and gardening, housework and
shopping, traveling and giving active parents the freedom to go with
their baby safely attached. Worn on the front, it is perfect for
nursing and simply holding your baby close to your heart.
After many years of
studying many cultures
and how they incorporate baby wearing, William and Martha Sears'
conclusion says it all. "Doesn't every parent in every culture have
these two simple desires: to make life easier for themselves and to
make life better for their baby? Baby wearing does both." The ERGO Baby
Carrier baby carriers are just the tool to make this possible.
Why choose
The ERGO Baby Carrier?
There are numerous baby carriers and baby slings on the market. The
ERGO Baby Carrier, however, is unique as it facilitates carrying your
baby from newborn (with the Infant Insert)
until 4 years old. The ergonomic design supports both you and your baby
in the most comfortable and healthy way possible. The ERGO
Baby
Carrier has been selected as a Parenting magazine Mom-tested product.
Products were evaluated by Parenting's own editors, then reality-tested
by the toughest critics out there - moms across the
country.
What makes a baby
carrier different from baby slings?
A baby sling is a pouch that the baby hangs in to one side and tends to
throw the body out of alignment over prolonged use. A baby carrier will
help keep your body aligned and alleviate back pain so you can carry
your baby longer. The ERGO Baby Carrier, in particular, distributes the
baby's weight evenly on the parent's body because it has two shoulder
straps and a very supportive waist belt. When using baby slings, a hand
is often needed to support the baby, but baby carriers leave both hands
free. Over and over we are told, out of all the baby slings, baby
carriers, and baby backpacks parents have tried, The ERGO, is the one
they have been looking for.
The ERGO Baby Carrier's ergonomic
design supports
a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth.
It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs,
which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the
crotch which most other designs require. The ERGO also balances the
baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical
stress for the parent. At infancy, The ERGO with the Infant Insert,
supports your newborn like a baby sling while having both hands free to
work. It can be worn on the front, back or hip position (shown on this
page).
Recommended

for freedom of movement because the parent and baby are like one

With my first two children, my favorite season was
from 6 months to 18 months, which I coined “The Backpack
Season”. I could throw them in my little Gerry Backpack and
get hours of work done and Baby was completely content supervising from
their perch over my shoulder. I don’t know if it’s
my age, the fact that I have two other children, or what, but Baby #3
was wearing me out in the backpack! I couldn’t last for half
an hour without being exhausted from the weight of my twenty pound son.
Now, with the Ergo, I am once again able to cook, vacuum, walk, or
anything else a busy wife and mother finds in her life to do with Baby
#3 once again supervising from his perch. A great delight is when my 7
year old daughter packs her little brother around to help Mom out. My
three year old son is eagerly waiting until he is big enough to carry
his brother on his back too! Take away my port-a-crib, my stroller, my
tippy-cups, but DON’T TAKE AWAY MY ERGO!
Malin & Baby Sofia Charity, Thank you for taking the time to
check back with me. I use the carrier daily & it was
awesome to have on my long trip to Sweden to visit family over the
holidays. I did not even take a stroller with me just carried
Sofia on all the flight connections. She loves it and
sometimes cries when I take her out of it! I use it around
the house and when I run errands, grocery store or just go out for a
stroll. We are both very happy! Thank you for much.

I just wanted to let you know that I ordered my carrier on Tuesday and
received it Friday morning. Much much faster than I expected!! Thanks
so much. I just put it on and took my daughter on an hour
hike
and I can not believe how comfy it is. It is by far the best carrier
ever. My shoulders did not hurt at all!!!! I had a pack similar to a
Bjorn and a Kelty Kangaroo and this is far far better than both of
those. I could never last an hour in those other two. My shoulders
would be killing me by that time. This pack you have created is the
best! Thanks so much!

I just had to write to tell you that I'm still loving my Classic ERGO.
It's now about 2 1/2 years old and we used it until my first was about
2 when she demanded to be able to walk everywhere. Now I'm using it for
my new baby who is six months old. I was so happy when I was finally
able to use it with her. I tried using the infant insert with it, but
didn't like it. Now I'm able to just put her in it sitting upright on
my front and we both love it. And people are still telling me that
they've never seen one! I can't believe it because I know so many
people who have them now. Just wanted to let you know how happy I still
am with my ERGO!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful product! Ii thought it was
expensive at first, but it is well worth the money. My daughter will
fall asleep in the carrier, and I can type around her, which lets me
get several hours of work done! i was starting to wonder how I could
work and take care of her, and this has seriously solved my problems.
plus it's great for walks, too! thanks again.

Aloha. First of all, I would like to thank you for
designing such a wonderful baby carrier. As a father of 2 sons, I have
tried so many different types of carrier and nothing comes close to the
ERGO. It is THE BEST baby carrier in the market! My wife and I bring
out the ERGO everyday as my youngest son will only sleep when we put
him in the ERGO. We call it his sleeping bag! While we carry the ERGO
along the streets, many parents approached us to enquire about the
carrier. Thus, we thought maybe we can bring it in to Singapore and
share this wonderful carrier with them. Please send to us the
application form as well as the Terms & Conditions to be a
wholesaler for ERGO. Hope to hear from you soon
